About Us

Dr. Brooke Dexter attended Chambers High School and continued her education at Chadron State College. There she participated in the RHOP program to receive her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. Dr. Dexter started her dental education at the UNMC College of Dentistry. After graduation, she joined Jordan Cochran DDS, PC as an associate dentist and in 2019 she partnered with Dr. Cochran to open Elm Creek Dental. 

Dr. Dexter is married to her husband Levi and has three girls: Averly, Aria, and Aloe. These girls bring such joy into their lives and keep them very busy! 

Since moving to Elm Creek in 2018, Dr. Dexter has learned a lot about the Elm Creek community. She has become a member of the Elm Creek Public School Foundation Board and is a mentor for the Teammates program at the school. Dr. Dexter loves the field of dentistry and working with such amazing coworkers!

 Hello! My name is Olivia and I live in Elm Creek.  A few things I love about my job are meeting new people, learning new ways to streamline things in the front office and expanding my dental knowledge! When I'm not at work I enjoy playing volleyball, spending time with my family and I always am wanting to learn new things! 

Tami Burkey is our newest addition to the hygiene team, but she has over 16 years of dental hygiene experience! She’s an amazing, smart, thorough, and caring part of our team here, and we couldn’t imagine not having Tami with us!

Tami recently moved back to the area after being in Lincoln since She graduated college. She graduated from the UNMC with a Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene and has been practicing for over 18 years.

Her favorite part about the job is the relationships she gets to build with patients while helping them maintain optimal dental health. She may be quiet, but she loves providing my patients with thorough but gentle cleanings.

Tami married her high school sweetheart, Seth. They are the proud parents of two rescue puppies, Apollo and Mika. When Tami’s not at the office, you will find her walking her pups, working out, gardening, camping or doing pretty much anything outdoors. Tami loves spending time with her family, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, and playing board games and game shows especially, The Price is Right!

I'm Ashley McGee. I have been a nurse for 22 years. I continue
to be an immunization nurse on Mondays and now I'm
learning to be a dental assistant the rest of the week, and I'm
loving it! I have 3 children that I adore. I love spending time
with family and traveling when I can.
